DEG Signal were allocated five packages of work towards the northern
end of the Metropolitan Line, Moor Park, Watford Junction, Rickmansworth,
Chorleywood, Croxley and Watford Station. This involved converting
approximately 200 33 1/3 Hz track circuits to FS2550.
DEG Signal were commissioned by WRSL to provide scheme and
detail design for the five areas stated above which met with WRSL. Metronet SSL
and LU Standards.
The design consisted of Scale Plan, Bonding Plan and
detailed design that included approximately 50 new apparatus cases along with amendments
to existing IMR and Kiosk circuitry.
