Project: Thameslink Depot & Stabling GRIP3 Signalling Development Client: Mouchel » Download or Print this Case Study in PDF format DEG Signal have been appointed to provide signalling design services to Mouchel Rail as part of their Multi-Disciplinary Design contract with Network to deliver Key Output 2 of the Thameslink Programme. A major deliverable of KO2 is the operation of 8 and 12 car trains at 24TPH which require commensurate depots and stabling facilities. This involves GRIP 3 signalling design at a number of sites identified for the potential provision of depot and stabling facilities for the new Thameslink rolling stock. The locations proposed for the new facilities include, Brighton, Horsham, Three Bridges, Tonbridge, Hornsey, Selhurst, Cricklewood and Bedford. DEG Signal will produce GRIP3 signalling documentation in the form of Signalling Scheme Sketches, Outline Project Specifications and where required Option Selection Reports in order to assist Network Rail to identify a single option to take forward to GRIP Stage 4 and Approval-in-Principle. « Back to Portfolio Page |
