Railway Experience Course
29 March 2010

Lloyds Register Rail has developed a Railway Experience course in partnership with the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway based on the Kent Coast in England. The course provides delegates with opportunities to observe and experience activities and apply their skills on a working one-third sized passenger railway operating to standard gauge rules and regulatiions.

Will Richardson who is a Trainee Design Engineer with DEG Signal has recently returned from this course and fully benefitted from the 'hands on' experience. Will is on the first year of a structured training course for signalling design engineers.

Details of the course can be found at: http://www.lrrail.com/servicesweoffer/training/railwayexperience/
